Farewell to Ireland, hello England – via the ferry across the English Channel, then train from Wales – 3 countries in one day!

Gene has been our wonderful host for our 2 week stay in Dublin – the home of U2, black pudding (only Martin is game to try) Guinness and Riverdance. Dublin is a city where people travel from the UK to have their stag & hen parties in the taverns of Templebar.

On arrival in Liverpool, we hired a car and drove to Yorkshire. The areas between Tintwhistle to Sheffield in the midlands, is the best of Tassie & Bellingen landscapes, with stone-villages – inspired the paintings of Turner back in the 1700’s (too busy admiring the scenery to take a picture, sorry!)
